Regenerative Ranching Practices
At Tucker Creek Ranch, we're a family committed to raising pasture-raised beef shares while taking care of the land we work on every day.
We combine practical regenerative methods with family farming values to produce quality beef while improving land stewardship.
Why We Embrace Regenerative Ranching
Better Beef Quality
Improved pastures for Red Angus and Hereford cattle means healthier animals and higher quality beef.
Environmental Benefits
We rotate cattle to fresh pasture regularly and invest in water infrastructure across our 250 acres in Oregon's Youngs River Valley.
Consumer Assurance
You can trust that your beef comes from a sustainable, responsibly-managed operation.
How We Practice Regenerative Ranching
Rotational Grazing
Rotational grazing on native coastal grass supplemented with Italian ryegrass allows pastures to recover and improve over time.
Water Infrastructure
We've installed 2+ miles of water infrastructure over two summers to support sustainable grazing patterns.
Advanced Fencing
We use a combination of permanent high-tensile fencing and portable electric fencing. The portable fencing gives us flexibility to adjust our grazing plan as conditions change.
Soil & Biodiversity
Managed grazing and rest periods give our pastures time to recover, encouraging deeper root growth and a wider variety of plant species.
